My Profiles is where you will view and work with the results of any Screenings you have done, lists you’ve pulled from Prospect, and profiles you’d found through the individual Search (and decided to save). From this one tab you can easily apply filters for segmentation, create custom tags for your campaigns, analyze your lists, score profiles, and even create models! Then, once you are ready to get that data back into your DMS or CRM, you can export the file right there.

This guide will provide an overview of the different sections in My Profiles. After all, there are many interlocking tools that work together to deliver deep insights and identify your very best people - you don’t want to miss any of them!

Profiles

The largest and most prominent section of My Profiles is of course the list of actual profiles!

This area will either display the profiles in your selected file under Lists, or the results of a filter that you applied. The provided columns will give you a high-level look at your donors, including their key scores and wealth ratings. If you click on the arrow icon, a drop-down with even more information will appear. To access a person’s profile and peruse the detailed data sources and records they are matching to, you can simply click on their name and it will take you right there!

If you want to customize these columns by adding, removing, or rearranging the fields, you can do so by going to Customize Table Display.

Lists and Filters

The large pane on the left of My Profiles can toggle back and forth between two functionalities: Lists and Filters.

The Lists option displays all of your separate files. This will include screenings and groups pulled from Prospect, as well as individually searched (and saved) profiles.

Segmenting a list can prove a gargantuan task, however; especially if it’s a particularly large file! That is where Filters come in. By choosing from over 50 different attributes, you can easily determine where your focus should be and who you should be talking to. You can utilize everything from key scores to donation history, and even specific data source matches.

Tabs Across the Top

When working within My Profiles, the tabs at the top of the page are how you will access many of the key tools:

Analyze

This tool will provide you with an in-depth analysis of the people in your file, including statistical breakdowns of their demographic information, wealth scores, giving capacity, business details, and more. You can use this to learn more about your top donors, as well as what qualities set them apart from national averages.

Model

Here you can build a model based on a list of your most valuable supporters! It will identify what qualities set your people apart from national averages and you can then use that model to both find brand-new leads and see how your current constituents compare! WealthEngine then uses the top 30 attributes to create the model.

  • Note: For more information and instructions, check out the Modeling Category in our Knowledge Base of resources.

Score

Once you’ve created your model, you can compare profiles to it in order to see how much they resemble your top donors, based on those 30 attributes. An individual will be scored from 1-100, with 1 = least similar, and 100 = most similar. This will help you figure out which people look most like your best supporters!

Tag

When you are using Filters to segment your lists, you may find you have unique qualities that would help – if only they were options. This is where you can create your own custom tags! Whether you are labeling profiles as “Top Donors;” “Volunteers;” “Capital Campaign Targets;” “Gala Attendees;” or even “Petition Signers;” there are many ways you can take advantage of this tool.

Delete

If you want to delete any profiles, you can do so here – but be careful. If you delete a record you won’t be able to get it back.

  • Note: If you want to remove a profile from that particular list, try moving it into a different file instead.

…More

Customize Table Display

You may find that the list of profiles that are displayed in My Profiles doesn’t really show you the fields you are most interested in – or perhaps it shows you more than you need to see! Here you can customize exactly which columns are presented, as well as their order.

Tag Manager

This is where you can create new tags as well as view, edit, or delete existing ones.

Export

Once you have your final results (which you ideally reviewed and verified), it’s time to export the data so you can then get it back into your DMS or CRM. You can choose from many pre-built templates, and most of our clients do just that. However, if none of those standard options work, no need to worry - you have the ability to create your own.
